As part of their exploration of local businesses, the students of the Lighthouse School of Ojai visited Christel at Frog Creek Farm, which specializes in lavender and organic produce. The students prepared a list of questions about the different things that go on at the farm and learned a great deal! They were particularly interested to learn that at Frog Creek Farm they grow many different kinds of lavender. The students were also able to pick their own bundles of lavender and purchase handmade lavender soap. They enjoyed their afternoon in the sun at the farm and look forward to visiting again!
I remember this! We had such a fun time visiting Christel. I thought it was funny how the bees would not sting us for the life of them. Me and my classmates had a really fun time!!!
