Our New Learning Centre is Opening in Nova Scotia!
Our educational therapy clinic has been operating in the Ojai Valley of Southern California since 2012, but recently we’ve been branching out! Since 2024, we have been providing home and school-based learning assessment and educational therapy services in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia. Now, we’re in the midst of opening our new learning centre in Port Williams! Consider joining us to celebrate our opening during Port Williams Days!

Training Workshops for Parents and Educators:
Intervention for Struggling Learners
June 29 – 30 & July 2 – 3 ~ 9:00 am – 3:30 pm
Description: Over the course of the week, participants will develop an understanding of the theory and steps of successful intervention programs, designed to facilitate cognitive development in key areas of the brain.
Sessions: These workshops will be devoted to understanding theoretical foundations, identifying cognitive skills to target for intervention, and providing tools for educators to incorporate into daily activities. We will also focus on clinical application using research-validated techniques. Time will be spent developing and following session plans and practicing the specific steps of programs.

Monday, June 29 and Tuesday, June 30 – Develop Language Imagery!
Improve mental imagery in order to enhance reading and listening comprehension as well as speaking and writing skills. Learn to help students connect language to their sensory systems! These techniques are particularly beneficial to students who experience language processing difficulties, struggle with reading comprehension, or have communication challenges related to autism spectrum disorders.
Thursday, July 2 and Friday, July 3 – Strengthen Orthographic Memory!
Strengthen orthographic memory in order to improve decoding skills, word recognition, reading fluency and spelling accuracy. These techniques benefit students who struggle with literacy foundations and reading fluency.

Homeschool Pods to Accelerate Learning
Beginning September 2026 at our Port Williams Location
Daily Instruction ~ 8:30 am – 12:30 pm
Foundational Learning Skills Group (ages 7 to 10)
For bright, motivated young learners who are struggling to develop core academic skills related to literacy and/or mathematics!
High-School Transition Group (ages 13 to 16)
For middle and high-school students who are ready to develop and apply their academic skills in a supportive setting.
