Use Your Manners!

Everyone knows the special date of February the 14th! Lots of schools have special celebrations for the lovely holiday. Well, so did ours! We had a wonderful day at Lighthouse! All of the students came in fancy clothes (even the boys looked spiffy!). Then we had a morning meeting and went over all of the basic table manners, for example: no elbows on the table, no burping or slurping, and say please and thank you! Then we had our regular classes up until lunch. Before we ate, we wrote valentines to loved ones while the teachers prepared lunch. When the table was set, we started our lunch with drinks. Most people drank sparkling cider. Then we went to appetizers, which included salads and bread. For our main course we had pasta. Not everyone loved it. Then we had dessert. Everyone loved that! We had a lovely time.
