Social Thinking at the Park

This week the students of the Lighthouse School of Ojai put their Social Thinking skills into action at Libby Park in downtown Ojai. The students practiced following their group plan while at the park, which included playing different group games. Our group leader checked in with each of her classmates to ensure that everyone was taking breaks and getting water when they needed to. The group leader also helped to facilitate meaningful and engaging conversation within the group depending on what each person remembered from their ‘People Files’ about each of their classmates. The Lighthouse students are becoming successful social thinkers and having a great time along the way!
