Lighthouse Learning Solutions is currently enrolling students for our after school homework sessions. Each day, students come to our clinic after school from 3-6 pm to complete their homework. We monitor them while they complete their tasks and are available for questions. Our office has a computer lab for students, as well as quiet reading areas, so students can find a place where they feel comfortable. We ask the students to make a written plan for their study time and estimate how long each subject will take them. Each student will have a personal timer with which they will monitor their time and then record how they did with their time estimate.
We take it upon ourselves to handle teacher/student communication, taking the brunt of the load off of your shoulders. Our goal is to help your child become efficient at monitoring their time and responsibilities, and to have each student feel successful in the classroom.
