Lighthouse Learning Solutions is pleased to offer a variety of events to the Ojai Valley Community.
Events take place at our office – 501 East Ojai Avenue.
DESCRIPTION: Over the course of the week, participants will develop an understanding of the theory and steps of successful research-based academic intervention, designed to facilitate cognitive development in key areas of the brain. This workshop will be devoted to understanding foundations of learning, identifying cognitive skills to target for intervention, and providing tools for educators to incorporate into daily activities. We will also focus on clinical applications using research-validated techniques. Time will be spent developing and following session plans and practicing specific steps of academic intervention programs.
